He's Rolled Over!

Today Trenton has reached another milestone - he's rolled over from his back to his tummy! He's a bit less thrilled about it than we are. We cheered and praised him, but he just looked at us funny. Actually, he's not very happy at all when he reaches his tummy, but silly boy, you're the one who did it. :-) So at 15 weeks exactly Trenton has rolled over!

The Dates are set!!!!!

We are excited to say that dates are set for our adoption finalization and sealing. We will finalize on August 22, at 8:15 am. And the next day(Aug, 23 @ 11am) we will go to the Salt Lake City Temple and have Trenton sealed to our family for time and all eternity.

So we were headed out to do some gardening and wanted to make sure T was protected from the sun. We grabbed some hats... he didn't appreciate it. :)

Adoption Update

We wanted to update everyone on the court happenings of the adoption.

In March the court rule that the birth father had not done everything, according to Utah law for putative fathers, to contest the adoption. After this ruling he and his Lawyers had 30 days to appeal the courts decision. They did not file an appeal during that time. So from what we understand, there is nothing more they can do (legally) to contest the adoption proceedings.

YEEEEEHAW!!!!!!!

So now we are waiting to complete the 6 month wait before we can finalize and go to the Temple to be Sealed as a family. :-) :-) :-)
The finalization and sealing are tentatively planned for the week of August 18-23, in Salt Lake City.
